Our World
Beyond the Surface – TheSpirit Within
Inspired by the two magical Panjabi words “ਚੜ੍ਹਦੀ ਕਲਾ” [Charhdi Kala] meaning “I am in high spirits” we stand for an optimistic, resilient and persistent approach to life.
Clarity emerges from calming the 'muddy water' of daily challenges – be it skin care or life in general. This philosophy encourages consistent self-kindness and patience, empowering you to embrace
your authentic journey and wear every experience as a badge of victory even if it left a few scars or tan behind!
Inner harmony and an unwavering faith in self will eventually heal them.
Balance Beyond Beauty
Beauty stems from inner calm and equilibrium. While fleeting
trends and overwhelming routines claim to fix skin overnight, Muddy Water is here to deliver balance — of looking good and feeling even better.
We stand for holistic self-care, fostering inner harmony and a silent confidence – the real glow up.
Embrace skincare that balances beauty and well-being through products rooted in ancient ayurvedic wisdom, backed by modern scientific innovations and free from toxic ingredients or cruelty.
Purity, Planet, Performance.
EU Standard Compliance: We benchmark our skincare against Europe's strictest, safest standards. If an ingredient is banned in the EU, it will not touch your skin. It's our sacred promise of safety and transparency.
Ancient Ayurvedic Wisdom and Modern Science: Our formulas blend timeless traditions with cutting-edge science. We use potent, high-grade ingredients with proven efficacy to deliver maximum impact, gently.
Eco-Conscious Care: Polluting silicones, formaldehyde-releasing chemicals, and non-biodegradable ingredients are absent from our lab. Animal ingredients or testing? Never.
Sustainable Packaging: Our beautiful packaging does not create ugly waste. We choose glass and premium recyclable materials for all packaging and delivery, avoiding hard-to-recycle tubes to reduce waste.
Our Founder
Amanpreet grew up in the greenest, most literate city of Panjab at the foothills of Shivaliks with a connection to holistic living that celebrated simple life, and yet believed in advancing through academic and scientific excellence.
After earning an Engineering degree, she dove into a ~14-year IT career, spanning global economic and scientific centers. But the more she navigated the fast-paced world, the more she longed for a grounded and yet optimistic life.
Amanpreet left her IT career in 2019. A formal study in Ayurvedic principles, love for science, and two years of intense research in skin care innovation transformed a long-time hobby into Muddy Water Skincare.
The magic of bringing together modern science, ancient holistic wisdom, with a dollop of self-appreciation has been reigning supreme since then.
